A Brief History of the Canmore Folk Music Festival Charity
| Canmore’s appetite for music led to the formation of the Canmore Folk and Blues Club in the early 1970s”. The Club was incorporated under the Societies Act on May 6th, 1975. It is a Registered Charity, #0857516–22. The Club, through the Canmore Folk Music Festival and its outreach program in the local schools, achieves its goals and objectives to: |

1. Educate and cultivate an appreciation for, and enjoyment of, the folk music of Canada and other countries
2. Educate and provide opportunities for children to become familiar with folk music and the musical instruments of many countries
3. Provide opportunities for national and international folk performers to become known in the area
4. Stimulate international understanding through a common interest in folk music

- when you purhcase your tickets online from TicketPro.ca, there is an option to include a donation with your order. Simply select the amount that is appropriate for you, and it will be automatically included with your order.

How do I get my Tax Receipt?
Tax receipts will be issued for donations of $20 and above. You can expect yours in the mail in the new year.
How do I get my FREE gift?
Your free gift will be available at the product tent on site at the next Folk Festival. You will need to present your donation voucher or Photo Identification to pickup your free gift. For Free Passes, they will be available at the will call gate at festival.
