How To Apply – Artist Submissions
The Canmore Folk Music Festival presents Contemporary and Traditional Folk, as well as Country, Bluegrass, Blues, Celtic, and World music. Presently, we book a total of 18 performers/groups - predominately Canadian with 4-8 performers/groups are from the USA and abroad.
Artists wishing to apply should send an electronic PR kit, links to your website, myspace or youtube videos to info[at]canmorefolkfestival.com.
Deadline for unsolicited submissions is January 31st, 2012. Submissions are kept on file for 2 years.
In an effort to reduce the cost to you and to our environment we do not accept unsolicited hard copies (CDs, press kits, etc).
We try to send an e-mail of acknowledgement for all electronic submissions. If you have not heard from us by April 1st, we regret that we were unable to include you this year. We receive hundreds of submissions each year and, unfortunately, are unable to book all the performers we would like.
Due to our limited budget and time constraints, we regret that we are unable to respond to all correspondence we receive.
