producer and performer, Colin's countless contributions, and
endless devotion to creating music places him at the heart of
the Canadian music scene.
Canadian pianoplayer Richard Bell was a member of Ronnie
Hawkins' Hawks in the late '60s, and also played
in Janis Joplin's Full Tilt Boogie Band. He has
been a permanent member of The Band since 1991.
Richard Bell has played with many other artists, including
Bruce Cockburn, John Sebastian, Bonnie Rait, and Paul
Butterfield. When not playing with The Band, Richard
also plays in a band with Colin Linden.
