Admission

Admission is by advance ticket or cash only - we are not equipped for credit cards at the gate. You will receive a wristband to wear for access to the Festival site. Please note that you must be present to receive a wristband at either gate

People who have purchased tickets in advance receive priority for seating at the Canmore Folk Festival. Here's how it works:

• Advance ticket holders who wish to claim seats early should line up at the advance ticket gate before 3:30 p.m. Saturday and before 9:30 a.m. Sunday and Monday. (Warning: lineups often start to form hours before the gate opens.)
• Nobody can claim seating space before the piper pipes the queue from the advance ticket gate across the soccer field.
• Piping takes place at 3:30 p.m. and at 9:30 a.m.

Gate Opening Times:
Saturday:
Advance Ticket Gate opens at 3:30 p.m.
Main Gate open at 4:00 p.m.
Gate closes at 9:30 p.m.

Sunday & Monday:
Advance Gate opens at 9:30 a.m.
Main Gate opens at 10 a.m.
Gate closes at 9:30 p.m.
