Family Area
|
Reflecting Canmore's community spirit, the Festival is very
much a family-oriented event - a place where grandparents, parents, and children can
relax and have fun together in an alcohol-free environment.
Building on the success of the past - clowns, jugglers, magicians, mascots,
and entertainers work with the audience to make this a memorable event.
In any given year, there will be a petting zoo, a 7 metre climbing wall for would-be
mountaineers, a craft tent, and special children's activities, with music and dance workshops
where young participants can experience first-hand the tales, rhythms and instruments
of many lands.
Of special note, to kick-off each year's Festival, a free children's concert is given on the
Saturday afternoon of the Festival.
Lots of fun to be had!
