Music has never needed a passport. This workshop brings together Caamaño & Ameixeiras, whose accordion and fiddle carry the ancient folk traditions of Galicia, and Ahmed Moneka, the Iraqi-Canadian artist fusing Afro-Sufi rhythms with Arabic folk melody, and Morgan Toney, who weaves the Celtic traditions of Cape Breton with centuries-old Mi'kmaq songs.. All very different corners of the world, finding common ground.
