Jason Alexander Griffith

About

Jason Andrew Griffith is a Calgary, Alberta-based singer-songwriter whose roots and Americana sound blends folk, alt-country, and blues into heartfelt stories of family, nostalgia, and love. Influenced by his upbringing on the Canadian Prairies, Griffith crafts songs that are both deeply personal and universally relatable, earning comparisons to acclaimed Alberta songwriters John Wort Hannam and Corb Lund.

A familiar face on the Calgary music scene since 2022, Griffith has performed regularly at venues and events including the King Eddy, Heritage Park, and the Calgary Stampede. His engaging live shows can have audiences clapping and dancing along one moment and wiping away tears the next.

In 2024, Griffith released his debut EP, *Voice of Marie*, which received airplay on campus and community radio stations across Canada. He followed it in 2025 with the lo-fi full-length album *Bootlegged Live in Calgary* and the single *Stay Another Day*. That same year, he was named a finalist in the Ranchman's Rising Star Best Song Contest. In 2026, Griffith was honoured with the Rocky Mountain Listening Room Spotlight Artist Award, further establishing him as one of Alberta's emerging voices in roots music.
