In many ways, Logan Staats’ entire musical journey has been a lifelong effort to build bridges between the music he grew up on and his own style and sound, between past and present, and, critically, within himself.

Growing up in Brantford, Ontario, Staats was drawn to music early and has since leveraged what seems to be an innate talent for blunt yet poetic lyrical sensibility and an ability to blend his wide-ranging musical influences to develop a uniquely compelling voice as a performer and songwriter. Staats has gained substantial recognition and accolades including: a JUNO Award nomination, multiple Native American Music Awards, the SOCAN Indigenous Songwriter of the Year award.
