Music rooted in land, lineage, and belonging. This workshop brings together three artists whose songs reach back through generations: Logan Staats, a singer-songwriter from Brantford, Ontario, carrying story and identity through blunt, poetic lyricism and a wide range of musical influences; Diyet and The Love Soldiers, from the Kluane First Nation territory in the Yukon, singing in both English and Southern Tutchone; and AHI, the Toronto songwriter of Caribbean heritage whose soulful folk draws from a deep well of identity and family. Different lands, different lineages, roots that run deep.
